"Building on their past achievements, both governments have renewed their commitments for the 2016–2021 period by investing $56 million in the Agreement’s implementation. Through the pooled expertise of specialists from 18 government agencies and departments, SLAP 2016–2021 has led to many interdepartmental projects and activities, including 43 projects focusing on the three priority issues of biodiversity conservation, sustainable use, and improved water quality"--Background, page 7.
