"Bottom and surface water temperatures were monitored in coastal waters of the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence using electronic recording devices attached to navigational buoys or moorings and set to record every two hours mostly from April to December. The data collected are presented as the mean daily temperature and monthly-accumulated degree-days for each sampled station"--Abstract, page viii.
