"Restorative Opportunities is a Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) program that offers family members of offenders an opportunity to communicate with the offender who harmed them and/or their family with the use of a facilitated dialogue process. Through Restorative Opportunities, family members can obtain information, describe the crime’s impact to the offender and find ways to address -- where possible -- the damage caused by the offender’s actions"--Page [1].
