"These Proceedings summarize the relevant discussions and key conclusions that resulted from a Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Canadian Science Advisory Secretariat (CSAS) Regional Peer Review meeting of November 8, 2017 at the Pacific Biological Station in Nanaimo, B.C. The working paper focusing on the pre-COSEWIC assessment of Yelloweye Rockfish was presented for peer review. In-person and web-based participation included Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Science and Fisheries and Aquatic Management Sectors staff; and external participants from First Nations, the commercial and recreational fishing sectors, environmental non-governmental organizations, and the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC). The conclusions and advice resulting from this review will be provided in the form of a Research Document providing advice to COSEWIC to inform their assessment of Yelloweye Rockfish conservation status"--Summary, page iv.
