"On November 3, 1975, the Minister of State for Urban Affairs introduced a "Federal Housing Action Program" (FHAP). The goal of the program is: to stimulate production of the kind of good quality housing that lower and middle income Canadians need and can afford, and to stimulate employment throughout the country. One of the major elements of the FHAP is the Assisted Home Ownership Program (AHGP)"--Introduction.
