"Appin Associates, on behalf of CMHC and the North West Territories Housing Corporation, conducted a survey to evaluate residential Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in homes in selected communities in the NWT. New designs and improved construction techniques are being used by the NWT Housing Corporation to increase the energy efficiency and the longevity of the housing. The intent of the study is to provide an indication of the potential for indoor air quality problems that may result from these changes in the design and construction of new housing and the application of similar techniques in the retrofitting of older housing units"--Executive summary.
