"This report concludes that Canada is on track to meet its 2025 target for methane reductions from the oil and gas sector. The report also acknowledges that recent scientific studies indicate methane emissions have historically been underestimated in Canada. While the report recognizes the important progress Canada has made in achieving its 2025 target, the Government recognizes that more work needs to be done to drive further reductions in this sector"--Executive summary, page iii.
