520 |aThis report examines selected characteristics pertaining to the housing of the "frail" elderly population in New Brunswick. The data were taken from a survey of "frail" elderly conducted during the months of May to October 1987. Among the report's conclusions is a recommendation that further research be undertaken to identify ways of making information on housing rehabilitation programs as well as design technologies available to elders and their caregivers, in an effort to support elders remaining abilities to carry out their daily activities in an independent environment.
