Pacific Region Five Nations multi-species fishery management plan, April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022 : salmon, groundfish, crab, prawn, gooseneck barnacle, and sea cucumber.: Fs144-61/2021-1E-PDF

"This Five Nations' Multi-Species Fishery Management Plan (2021 FMP) covers the period April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The objective of the FMP is to implement a right-based multi-species sale fishery that accommodates the Five Nations' Aboriginal rights to fish and sell fish. To this end, the FMP outlines the fishing opportunities that DFO intends to provide to the Five Nations for the 2021/22 season to implement their Aboriginal rights. Though the 2021 FMP is the third Multi-Species FMP developed by DFO since the 2018 Court Order, version 2 of the 2021 FMP is the first Multi-Species FMP developed since the British Columbia Court of Appeal (BCCA) decision was made on April 19, 2021, in Ahousaht Indian Band and Nation v. Canada, 2021 BCCA 155 [the "2021 BCCA Decision"]. This revision of the 2021 FMP partially implements the 2021 BCCA Decision. DFO will continue working towards full implementation in the 2022 FMP"--Preamble, page 12.
