520	|a"The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (Tribunal) provides a forum whereby issues regarding the conduct of certain federal procurements can be addressed at the request of suppliers. Various trade agreements designate the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) as the bid challenge (complaint) authority for Canada. Parliament has enacted legislation designed to ensure that the procurements covered by the trade agreements are conducted in an open, fair and transparent manner and, wherever possible, in a way that maximizes competition.
