"The following evaluation examines the implementation of the Species at Risk Act (SARA) from June 2005 to December 2010. It was conducted to provide neutral evidence to senior policy makers at Environment Canada (EC), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and Parks Canada Agency (PCA)– the departments and agency (referred to the competent departments) responsible for the implementation of the Species at Risk Act.
