Environmental codes of practice for steam electric power generation : siting phase.: En49-9/1-2E-PDF
"The Siting Phase Code is one of a series of documents being developed for the steam electric power generation industry. This industry includes fossil-fuelled stations (gas, oil and coal-fired boilers), and nuclear-powered stations (CANDU heavy water reactors). In this document, the environmental concerns associated with water, air and solid waste aspects of steam electric power plants are discussed, and a three-phase approach by site selection teams is suggested, to minimize these concerns"--Abstract.
