"Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) commissioned Kantar to conduct a public opinion research survey of the Canadian freight transportation industry. The aim of this research was to assess perspectives on reducing fuel use and improving energy efficiency in freight transportation among the heavy-duty trucking industry, as well as establish a baseline for future measures. A total of 300 representatives of the Canadian freight transportation industry who were involved in or knowledgeable about the management or implementation of trucking fuel efficiency programs and policies within the business’ fleet of vehicles were surveyed by telephone in February and March of 2022. This publication reports on the findings of this research"--Page 2.
