"This study has developed a methodology for the evaluation and priorization of wetlands according to their ecological value for migratory birds and other associated wildlife species. The evaluation procedure was designed to assist the Canadian Wildlife Service and other organizations in planning long term wetland habitat strategies in British Columbia. The methodology was developed and applied to wetlands within a pilot study area in south central British Columbia using existing sources of information.
