"Northair Mines Ltd. a small 300 ton/day copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc mine located approximately 56 km due north of Squamish, B.C. opened in 1976 and is expected to close in late 1981 for the lack of economically recoverable ore. Two flotation concentrates (Cu-Pb & Zn) are produced and silver-gold are recovered by mercury amalgamation and refined to dore bars on site. Cyanide is used to differentially separate the two flotation concentrates"--Summary and recommendations, page 28.
