"As part of the “Improving Drift Prediction and Near-shore Modeling” sub-initiative of the Oceans Protection Plan (OPP), three bottom-mounted Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) were deployed at approximately 80 m depth, one at the mouth of Chedabucto Bay, NS, and two at Canso Bank, approximately 25 nm offshore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Additional sensors were included at the two sites at Canso Bank to measure conductivity, temperature, depth, and dissolved oxygen, although one logger was damaged at recovery"--Abstract.
