Black business owners in Canada / by Bassirou Gueye.: CS11-0019/467E-PDF

"This article examines the sociodemographic characteristics of Black business owners in Canada and compares them with the characteristics of their White Canadian and other racialized counterparts. It also explores the characteristics of businesses based on the racial profile of owners. The analysis is based on a new linkage between the Canadian Employer-Employee Dynamics Database (2018), the Census of Population (2001, 2006 and 2016) and the 2011 National Household Survey"--Abstract, page 5.
