"This document gives an account of the 2020 assessment of the Atlantic Cod (Gadus morhua) stock in Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) Subdiv. 3Ps, located off the south coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The French overseas territory of St. Pierre et Miquelon (SPM) also lies within the boundaries of NAFO Subdiv. 3Ps, and only Canada and France have fished in this area since the extension of jurisdiction by each country to 200 miles in the late 1970s. The stock is jointly managed by Canada and France through formal agreements"--Introduction, page 1.
