Arsenic in Sinclair Creek Basin, Kootenay National Park, British Columbia / by Wm. D. Gummer, H.O. Block.En37-594/1979E-PDF

"The study was designed to gain further insight into the prevalence, distribution and sources of arsenic to Sinclair Creek. To assist in this endeavor, a brief literature review of the geology of the area was conducted and is summarized herein. The study design incorporated the systematic collection of water samples at a specified time interval at selected locations during the ten month period of June to March spanning a complete cycle of high and low flows. The interpretation of the data is aided by graphical and statistical techniques and involves comparisons with arsenic criteria from the standpoint of human and environmental health"--page 2.
