"The main advantage of a condensing boiler is its ability to capture and reuse the heat that is normally lost during the combustion process in conventional boilers. In a condensing boiler, the hot gases from burning fuel are passed through an extra heat exchanger (Figure 1), which allows to capture more of this heat, instead of it being vented to the atmosphere"--Page [1].
