"The Pan-Canadian Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance (the "action plan") has been developed incollaboration with federal, provincial and territorial (FPT) partners, and responds to calls to action from industry, academia and other partners across One Health sectors. … The action plan establishes FPT commitments on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) over the next 5 years (2023 to 2027). Ten priority actions will guide Canada's multi-sectoral and multi-jurisdictional efforts across 5 pillars: research and innovation; surveillance; stewardship; infection prevention and control (IPC); and leadership"--Executive summary, page 3.
