Changing Narratives Fund report on consultations.: CH44-180/2023E-PDF

"The Minister of Canadian Heritage's mandate letter includes a commitment to developing a "new Changing Narratives Fund to provide diverse communities with the tools to tell their own stories and to promote diverse voices in arts, culture and media." In response, Budget 2022 announced $5 million in funding in 2023-24 to Canadian Heritage to launch the Changing Narratives Fund (CNF). The development of this fund is an opportunity for the Government of Canada to help Indigenous, racialized, and religious minority journalists, creators, and organizations have their experiences and perspectives better represented"--Introduction, page [3].
