"Under contract to the Transport Canada (TC) Innovation Centre, with support from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and several fluid manufacturers, APS Aviation Inc. (APS) has undertaken a testing and research program to further advance aircraft ground de/anti-icing technology. The program has a number of objectives, and work completed to address these objectives is documented in a series of related reports. The primary objective, the development of holdover time (HOT) guidelines for new de/anti-icing fluids, is addressed in this report. The objective was met by conducting endurance time tests with several de/anti-icing fluids. This report also documents changes made to the HOT Guidelines for the winter of 2021-22"--Executive summary, page vii (first section).
