Canadian Wildlife Service sign manual = Guide de signalisation du Service canadien de la faune.CW66-1241/1980-PDF

"A progressive organization projects a well co-ordinated corporate image. To ensure strong identification, the Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS), therefore, developed a unified system of visual communication to be used across Canada. An easily recognized service not only increases the public's awareness of it and its role within the Government of Canada, but also facilitates the implementation of activities and regulations in those areas under its jurisdiction. This manual provides the principles and guidelines necessary to understand and implement the CWS sign system. The CWS Board of directors has approved the text"--The system, page 2.
