The current test program at DRES is focused on critical conditions for initiation and transmission of detonation in ethylene-air mixtures. This program includes an investigation of the influence of confinement on the propagation of detonation. Selected results from these investigations are discussed and typical photographic and smoked-foil records obtained during the current test program are included"--abstract.
