"This study examines the risk to southwestern British Columbia from hazardous sea level events, with focus on the Boundary Bay region. We identify five main types of marine hazard affecting sea levels in the study region: (1) Trans-oceanic tsunamis; (2) local tsunamis; (3) landslide-generated tsunamis; (4) storm surges; and (5) meteorological tsunamis"--Abstract.
