In October 2022, the House of Commons Standing Committee on International Trade (the Committee) released a report that largely focused on two topics relating to Canada–U.S. trade: softwood lumber and electric vehicles. The report’s chapter on softwood lumber trade summarized witnesses’ comments and contained the Committee’s recommendations to the Government of Canada.
