Environmental effects of oil pollution in Canada : an evaluation of problems and research needs / by Richard E. Warner.CW66-1425/1969E-PDF

"This review of oil pollution problems as they relate to Canada is intended to cover several areas. First, it examines the present global oil pollution situation, with special reference to Canada's principal current problem, namely coastal oil pollution. Second, it evaluates the special problems which Canada now faces, or will face in the immediate future due to the press of circumstances. Third, based on a recent review of current oil pollution research in Western Europe, Canada, and the U.S., it recommends a series of programs which if implemented, would enable Canada to intelligently come to grips with what is a rapidly growing problem of national significance"--Introduction, page 1.
