"This report presents the results of the Evaluation of the Great Lakes Program (Program Alignment Architecture (PAA) sub-program 1.3.4), which was conducted by Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) Audit and Evaluation Branch, in fiscal year(s) 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. The evaluation was identified in the 2014 Departmental Risk-Based Audit and Evaluation Plan and conducted in order to meet a commitment to evaluate the program. The evaluation also responds to the requirements of the Financial Administration Act and the Treasury Board of Canada Policy on Evaluation to evaluate all ongoing programs of grants and contributions and direct program spending at least once every five years"--Introduction, page 5.
