"Many changes have been implemented by airlines and national government during the pandemic to reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission during air travel. This evidence brief summarizes the literature on in-flight transmission of SARS-CoV-2, the characteristics of these events, and the strategies implemented or proposed to mitigate transmission in an airplane or during boarding and disembarkation. This is the third update and includes studies up to November 25, 2021. The first and second update of this review contained literature published up to October 28, 2020 and April 26, 2021, respectively"--page 4.
