Effect of laboratory combination of suspended sediment samples on accuracy of computations of sediment load / D.A. Davis.En37-732/1973E-PDF

"The purpose of the investigation was to determine if total concentration suspended sediment samples could be combined and analyzed as an integrated sample within a fixed criteria. A combination of samples would result in improved suspended sediment laboratory efficiency which must be weighed against decrease in accuracy of the computation of suspended sediment load in the stream. An analysis was carried out on three streams in Western Region of different sizes and regimes, with a total of approximately four station-years of record analyzed"--Synopsis, page 1.
