"The evaluation was conducted by Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) Audit and Evaluation Branch in fiscal year (FY) 2017–18 and covered the period from FY 2014 to 2015 to FY 2017 to 2018. As the National Wetland Conservation Fund (NWCF) will sunset on March 31, 2019, the evaluation team examined elements of the initiative that worked well and those that could be improved. While the report does not present any recommendations, the evaluation team developed lessons learned to inform the design and delivery of future, similar initiatives"--About the evaluation, page 4.
