In summary, everyone agreed it is important that a victim-centred approach be adopted when engaging victims and survivors of crime – from communications materials to outreach and services provided to them. Given Canada’s ethnocultural diversity, it is essential to consider the needs of these various communities and ensure the accessibility of information and services"--page 2.
