Crustal magnetization and gradient tensor component maps of the northern Juan de Fuca ridge / J. Bradley Nelson.DR52-11/3-1988E-PDF

"An aeromagnetic survey over the northern Juan de Fuca Ridge has been completed for DREP by the National Aeronautical Establishment. Measurements of the total-field and its derivatives in both the vertical and horizontal directions were taken at an altitude of 300 m above sea-level, with a nominal line spacing of 1.8 km. Contour maps of the five independent components of the gradient tensor generated from the horizontal derivative data, and a model of the geological magnetization based on the total-field measurements and existing bathymetry maps are presented."--abstract (page iii).
