"A moving aluminum foil hail recorder was developed. During the summer of 1968 hailfall data were obtained from four hailstorms. The data from the storm of July 28 were analyzed. The analysis shows that the hail fell in small bursts with the largest hailstones falling in the second half of the storm"--Abstract.
