"This study recommends an information reporting and analysis system for the cable television (CATV) industry which will enable the Minister of the Department of Communications and Senior Department Officers to: 1) understand and monitor key economic developments; 2) evaluate the continuing impact of CRTC and DOC policy decisions; and 3) undertake policy initiatives which are intended to accomplish DOC objectives"--page iv.
