Assessment of aquatic impacts in an area treated with aminocarb at 180 grams per hectare / by W.R. Ernst, T.A. Clair, and G.R.J. Julien.En37-764/1985E-PDF

"This study was designed to measure aquatic residue concentrations and biological impact of high dosage rate (180 g ai/ha) Matacil 180 F sprays which were used in an attempt to control spruce budmoth populations in white spruce plantations. The spray was applied directly to approximately 300 metres of the treatment stream in a single swath. Residue analyses were conducted on water, sediment and freshwater clam (Anadonta sp.) samples obtained at various times after spray. Aminocarb concentrations were below detection limits in all samples with the exception of one water sample taken 4 days after spraying and shortly after a rainfall event"--Abstract, page i.
