"The purpose of the study was to collect and analyze data concerning technical field coverage of all TV stations in Nova Scotia with a view to establishing: (a) Areas of the province which do not now receive satisfactory TV service. (b) Variations between the calculated and measured Grade A and B contours. (c) Permanent checkpoints to be used by field inspectors in the course of a station inspection. (d) A sound basis by which our field staff can judge interference and lack of coverage complaints"--Purpose, page 2.
