Regional lake-sediment geochemical data from northern Manitoba (NTS 064-G) : reanalysis data and QA/QC evaluation / S.D. Amor, C.G. Couëslan, M.S. Gauthier, T. Martins, M.W. McCurdy, S.J.A. Day, and S.W....M183-2/9197E-PDF

"This report presents new geochemical data, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) results of the reanalysis of lake-sediment samples collected from northern Manitoba (NTS 64-G), collected over an approximate area of 13 300 km² with an average density of one sample per 15 km². The original sampling programs were conducted in 1984, whose results are presented in Geological Survey of Canada open file 1105. Lake-sediment samples from 881 sites were reanalyzed between 2020 and 2022. Samples were measured for 65 elements via modified aqua-regia - ICP-MS, and for 35 elements by INAA. To ensure high-quality geochemical data, the data were evaluated for accuracy, precision, and fitness-for-purpose. QA/QC results have identified several elements to be monitored carefully for future analyses"--Abstract.
