"Drawing on the 2009 General Social Survey (GSS) on Victimization data, this Juristat article presents information on self-reported incidents of criminal victimization, including spousal violence, in the three territories. Specifically, it examines the socio-demographic and economic characteristics of those who have been victimized, whether they choose to report these incidents to police, and the use of victims' services. The perceptions of crime and personal safety among residents of the territories are also examined"--Page 6.
