"This Juristat article uses information from the Survey of Maintenance Enforcement Programs (SMEP), to examine cases registered in a maintenance enforcement program (MEP) in eight reporting provinces and territories, namely Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon and the Northwest Territories. These provinces and territories collectively represent 22% of Canada’s total population"--Page 4.
