"Electronic warfare (EW) is a land combat function. EW produces tactical intelligence information which, if timely, can afect the outcome of the battle. Automation is required for the EW/intelligence cycle to stay inside the ever-narrowing window of the commander's opportunity to respond to and impact battlefield situations. Data fusion will automate the EW analysis process to provide timely situation assessments"--Abstract, page iii.
