Economic profiles of offenders in Saskatchewan / by Jillian Boyce, Sun Te and Shannon Brennan, Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics.: CS85-002/38-15E-PDF

"Linking justice data from the Saskatchewan re-contact analytical file and tax information from the T1 Family File (T1FF), this article will provide an economic and employment profile of adults (aged 18 and older) who had contact with Saskatchewan police between April 2009 and March 2010. The article will also explore the possible impact that a contact with the justice system can have on one's economic and employment well-being. The second half of this article uses information from a census and geographically based index to explore inequalities in various measures of health and social well-being for those who had a contact with Saskatchewan police between 2009 and 2010"--Page 4.
