To support this process, advice was solicited through the Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Canadian Science Advisory Secretariat (CSAS) on ecological design strategies that inform the representation and replication of ecological features, as well as network design parameters such as size, spacing, protection levels, and connectivity.
