"This guide provides a collection of options to reduce the effects of forest fire on community infrastructure at every stage of the lifecycle. It includes general adaptations that can be applied across a variety of infrastructure asset types such as housing, community buildings and schools, water and wastewater infrastructure, and roads and bridges. It aligns with the Government of Canada and ISC Climate Change Working Strategy’s commitments to support Indigenous partners in their efforts to increase resilience to forest fires and mitigate negative impacts"--Introduction, page 1.
