"This Juristat article presents findings from the Canadian Correctional Services Survey (CCSS) in order to provide data and information on the extent of the over-representation of Indigenous persons in adult provincial custody for the fiscal years 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 for five provinces. Specifically, the analysis presented here capture adult corrections information from the following provincial correctional service programs: Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, which represent two thirds of the adult provincial/territorial custodial population"--Page 4.
