Reforming transition from military to civilian life / Emmanuel Dubourg, chair.: XC78-1/1-441-16E-PDF

"The Committee undertook its current study on the transition to civilian life in order to follow up on the implementation of this new model. In total, 22 individuals appeared before the Committee at four meetings held between February and April 2024. The study showed that the key difficulties associated with the transition to civilian life are related to the capacity of the provinces and territories to provide health care services in a timely manner, particularly access to a family doctor. These difficulties affect all Canadians, and therefore the solution to these problems cannot be tailored specifically to veterans"--Introduction, page 4.
