"The Government of Canada aims to capitalize on the economic and defense potential of quantum technologies through the National Quantum Strategy (NQS) and the DND/CAF's Quantum Science and Technology Strategy and corresponding implementation plan, Quantum 2030. At the same time, there is growing awareness of significant security risks, especially in areas with potential military applications (i.e. dual-use technologies).
