Evaluation of the Cultural Spaces Fund program 2018-19 to 2022-23.: CH7-75/2025E-PDF ; CH7-75/2025-1E-PDF

"This report presents the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the evaluation of the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund (CCSF). This evaluation addresses evaluation requirements outlined in the Treasury Board Secretariat Policy on Results (2016) and the Financial Administration Act, as well as senior management information needs. It was conducted as prescribed in the Departmental Evaluation Plan 2023-24 to 2027-28 of Canadian Heritage (PCH). The evaluation was undertaken by the PCH Evaluation Services Directorate with support from an external evaluation consulting firm. It covers the five-year period from 2018-19 to 2022-23 and examines the relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency of the CCSF. The CCSF was established in 2001 and supports infrastructure improvement projects that enhance access to arts and heritage spaces. The Program aims to enhance the physical conditions of cultural spaces across Canada. Its objective is to provide Canadians in all regions, including underserved communities, with access to new or improved arts and heritage cultural facilities in their communities for creation, collaboration, presentation, preservation, and exhibition"--Page 1.
