"The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has prepared this report in response to the designation request for the Madawaska wind farm project (the project) pursuant to section 9 of the amended Impact Assessment Act (the IAA). This analysis report will serve as the basis of analysis for any new designation request submitted to the Minister of Environment (the Minister) for a wind farm project in southern Quebec. In these circumstances, IAAC will refer to the analysis in this report, and address potential effects within federal jurisdiction that were not covered by this analysis, or that may be different"--Purpose, page 1.
